In class today, we started by talking about the bathroom. Lily asked to go to the bathroom and that started up a conversation. You told us the story about when you were in fourth grade and went to the bathroom and flooded the bathroom. After we talked about the bathroom for a little bit, we started tot all about the percentage of the population that is international migrants. In our packet it said it's 3%, but in the powerpoint it said 9%. We first took a vote on what we thought. then, we looked it up and the correct answer is 3%. After that, we started to talk about Trump and migration. I am supportive of Trump and his decisions but they don't really affect me.

Today in class we didn't do very much. We got a packet about migration. Yesterday in class we had to take notes on migration. Today, when we all got the packet, we had to highlight certain parts of the packet. We had to highlight the facts we knew about migration. Everything we highlighted was stuff from our notes yesterday. You went over everything we had highlighted. The article/packet further explained the notes we took yesterday. In the article it said something about 3% and the powerpoint said 9%. I forget what it was about but the numbers would two different numbers for the same thing.

Today in class we went over the paper that we did yesterday. We had to check all of the questions. After we checked the questions we passed the paper in. Then we had a quiz after. I was surprised because I didn't know we were going to have a quiz today. The quiz was actually very easy though. It was the exact same questions as the paper we turned in today in class. There were only 10 questions on the quiz. I think I did pretty well and I think I only got like one wrong.

In class today we watched a video. The video talked about a span of 200 years and the population each year. It used a graph to represent the population and money people were making in each country.  The different countries were represented by dots. Each dot had a different color. Also, the size of the dot symbolizes the size of the population. Throughout the years, every country has progressed. Africa is the furthest behind all of the countries.

In class today, we reviewed some stuff we already went over. We talked more about infant mortality rate and total fertility rate. Infant mortality rate is the amount of infants that don't make it past one year. Total fertility rate is the number of children a woman has. We also discussed how the population is going to increase over the future years based on how the population has already increased in the past.

Today in class, the only thing that we did was go over our tests. I didn't do as good on my test as I wish I did. I thought I did pretty good on the test when I was taking it. Most of the questions made sense to me and weren't that hard. I definitely will use this test to study for our exam.

In human geo class today, we continued to talk more about population. We also looked at different maps. The maps showed the amounts of people in different places of the world. The maps usually were the amount of people per square kilometer. Lots of places in the world are overcrowded. Towards the end of the class, dallas and I had an argument about how many McDonald's are in Ocean City, Maryland.

Today in class we took a test. The test was on population. For the first fifteen minutes, we had to answer twelve questions using the world fact book on cia.gov. For the rest of the test, we couldn't use the cia website or our laptops. I thought the test was easier than I thought it was going to be. I was kind of confused with the matching definitions. I had to go to the bathroom very badly, but you wouldn't let me. You told me I had to draw cartoons on my paper. I drew an Earth on the paper.

Today in class we continued to talk more about population pyramids. We looked at different cities and their population pyramids. Some places had many people in their 20's if there was a big college near by. Some places had lots of men because it is a military base. Not all of the population pyramids have an exact shape. Some can be more than one of the three types of pyramids. We looked on a website that showed different locations and their population pyramid.

Unfortunately, we did have school today. We had a delay because of the snow but I really wanted to have off. Today was our last class of the...
