In class today we continued to talk about population. We also talked about immigrants and emigrants. Immigrants are people that come into a new country. If someone from another country enters America, they are an immigrant. An emigrant is someone who leaves a country. If somebody were to leave America and go to another country, they would be considered an emigrant. A person could be an emigrant and also be an immigrant. If someone leaves one country, and then enters another country, they could either be called an immigrant or an emigrant.
